A rescue by the ranger…leads to an unexpected chance
Ranger Ewan McAllister can’t help but intervene when he overhears single mum Gina Williams being told she’s out of work. After all, rescuing people is his job. So he offers her a position at the mountain visitor centre near Heartmont, Colorado. Gina jumps at the opportunity…but she’s also afraid. Afraid of being so close to the mountain — a reminder of her husband’s fatal avalanche accident. And afraid she and her children are getting too close to the handsome ranger.
